Ordinary Days
Observations of daily life
Daily objects with daily imagery. I was a long-period traveller in London 2007. I often sat on a bench in the parks or bus stops to capture us. There was a hint of loneness. There was a blink moment of yourself in the crowd. I was also making a picture book based on the series of drawings.
All works are constructed with porcelain using various hand building techniques to show that each day is different. The clay is mixed with clear glaze to keep the surface matte and clean, as well as to ensure proper functioning of the vessel.
